The vibration strength was strong enough for my puppy to get the message but not hurt him. The battery life went for awhile so it could still be effective for awhile.

I was looking for a vibration/shock collar that was strong enough, yet gentle enough for my Australian shepherd. We use it for excessive barking and it works well.

We really only use it for the vibration and beep sound when our dogs barking is out of control. It catches his attention, and he stops pretty quickly!
