I have never put the shock pins in the collar and have only used the vibration a few times (when they have gotten close to the road, and after I have said No). These are not something to be used as a punishment, but a training tool and I have to say they are number 1

An excellent training tool! After only 3 uses with the vibration mode I only have to put the collar on my dog and she will follow instructions without the use of the remote.

This dog training collar is just what I needed. The vibration mode is perfect for getting Parker’s attention. It’s very easy to use and the magnetic charging port is awesome!

I got this to help with the leave it command to keep my dog from chasing my cat. I only used the vibration mode at medium strength 3-4 times and now when I tell my dog leave it, he stops what he’s doing and looks at me.

We love this product. The product itself looks a little big for her tiny body, but we haven’t had to shock her at all. The vibration setting has worked wonders. We have tried many others and this is our favorite by far.
