Efficient and it Works!

The product is excellent when used on 1 dog. Dual use is fiddly. Although the after support was excellent and they went out of their way to help I still struggle using it on two dogs at the same time. Every time I set it up it knocks the single dog control off. I maybe doing something wrong but either way I haven’t mastered it. Each dog alone is great and the after service is excellent.

This arrived two days ago and we are pretty impressed. I initially ordered it for my Cockapoo who barks at everything and for my older dog who is a beachcomber, dead fish and dead birds her speciality. We started by putting it on the smaller dog, collar way too long but ordered another so we can shorten one and then swap collars according to dog being trained We used it on the bleep for her, the first time she barked I said no and bleeped. She stopped, looked pretty puzzled but didn’t continue with the harsh barking. Since then she has quietly barked once, again I bleeped the noise button after telling her No and today no barking. I just pick the remote up if I think she is about to bark and she doesn’t. Someone came to the door and Hallelujah no barking. Yesterday I put it on the bigger dog, I used it on vibrate when she found a dead bird, I called Leave it first with her name, she eventually dropped the bird, ran back and got a treat. Another couple of bird incidents later she was coming straight back after a quick vibrate to get a treat. This is a huge improvement as I have been seen chasing after her all over the beach to retrieve the carrion, me getting angry, her thinking it’s a huge game. So long story cut short, we will continue with it as Training aid. I have great faith in it. I think if this continues I think it’s only going to take a short while to fully sort both problems. The interchangeable collar straps is a cheaper option than two devices although that would be easier.The instructions are not the easiest to understand but I got there. It’s simple to recharge. It isn’t too heavy on either dogs neck, little one is 10 kg and bigger dog 23. The vibration strength goes from 1 to 99. I used it on 50 for the bigger dog! Mainly because she is food driven and I thought she needed more of a buzz.I will update this review after a few weeks....

I wish I'd known about this 18 months ago! My dog Buddy was always chasing squirrels, bikes and pick ups and not coming when called. The first time I tried SPT-85 85m basic remote control commander I had a completely different and obedient dog. Not only that, but his approach to other dogs was not always correct. Now he has learnt to sit and leave other dogs and let them walk past. He now stays with in eye sight with no more running off into to bushes to return 20/30 minutes later after chasing squirrels/deer or what ever he thought he saw. My walks with Buddy are now so much more pleasurable. For those of you looking at the price of this and thinking that's a lot of money, let me tell you, it is money well spent and also money saved on cheaper things that don't work....
