I purchased this for my American Bulldog, who seems to bark at every noise that she hears outside...all day long. I have never wanted to use a bark collar on any of my "yappy" dogs, but as I wok from home on the phone I needed to try something to teach her to refrain from barking. I didn't need anything fancy or too harsh. I got exactly what I needed, I placed the collar on her only 3 times, using only the minimal settings and haven't had to use it since.

This product worked wonders within minutes. I tested the vibrations on myself prior to using it on my dog to see what it would feel like. After placing the collar on my dog, he parked a few times, and was given a beep and vibration which made him stop barking. He has barked a significantly less amount since having the collar. I did have to lower the sensitivity because at one point, he swallowed which set off the collar. But a low sensitivity seems to work well.

Love this dog training collar! I have bought other bark collars before that you needed to replace batteries often, not this one. It's rechargeable so a few hours plugged in and it's ready.This dog training collar is also sleek and slim so it's not too bulky even on little dogs. My dog is a Chihuahua that used to bark at everyone walking by. Not anymore. Also love how all the settings are adjustable. We have it on beep and vibration and it's very effective. No need to use the shock function if your dog doesn't need it...

I researched and decided to buy the A+ trainer to train my pomeranian puppy (9mos) to stop barking constantly. Once received, the unit was easy to charge & program. I purchased this device because of the control ability- I did not want to use a shock collar. I was able to program beep and vibrate only. Within 3 days of wearing the A+ unit she barks 95% less. When she barks it's a single bark or two vs the repeated 5-10 minutes of barking.
